Hello dear followers! I have been very quiet for a long while, and I just wanted to pop in and give you a quick update on what has been going on with my life.
Firstly, have I stopped reading? No! Absolutely not. I have just read so many books that it is hard to post about each one. I have read from my favorite authors, grabbed some new authors, and am actively seeking more books to read, lol.
But why have I not been posting you ask? Well, I have been busy. I started a new part-time job back in April that has kept my busy during the day and away from my computer. I find it hard to write my blog anywhere but at my desk, and lately my desk has been hard to find for all the stuff piled upon it.
Also, I have been immersed in a construction zone while my kitchen has been remodeled. This was a "not by choice, but by necessity" redo, as we had a lot of rot and water damage in the flooring. Let me tell you...if you have never remodeled a kitchen, it is a long process! I have a handyman doing the work since my dear hubby is on the road making the money to do the remodel (Oh, and pay the bills...let's not forget that!). I am seeing the light at the end of the tunnel (instead of through my floor!)...walls have been covered, the first cabinets are in, electrical has been updated. Progress has been made! Now to go through all of my kitchen clutter and figure out what to keep and what to discard.
I will do my best to do better, but as I have read over 20 books just in September (and it's only the 22nd), it is hard! Until next time, Happy Reading!
