ARC Review: Miss Spell's Hotel by Kate Danley

If you have never read Kate Danley, you are MISSING OUT!  She writes fun, quirky paranormal and fantasy books. My first book from Kate was Maggie McKay, Magical Tracker and I was hooked. Then I read her take on Robin Hood, Olde Robin Hood, which was wonderful.  Her latest release is the start of a brand new series, Know Spell Hotel, about a witch who runs a hotel on the Other Side...but I am ahead of myself, lol!

LIKE IF TWIN PEAKS AND THE ADDAMS FAMILY HAD A BABY

Maggie MacKay isn't the only person living on the Other Side.

Meet Miss Spell.

Queen of Other Side hospitality, this witch's No Spell Hotel is filled with creatures just dying to meet you.

As the old saying goes, you attract more vampires with B positive. And if you can't beat 'em.... well. Kill 'em with kindness.

Get checked in with Miss Spell's Hotel - book one in the Know Spell Hotel spin off series, a funny, gothic, urban fantasy adventure... with witches!

I am so lucky to have gotten an early copy of this book to read!  Kate's creativity and imagination are fully showcased in her descriptions of characters, locales, and situations as we explore a little bit more of the Other Side.

So, Miss Elle Spell is a witch descended from a long line of witches on the Other Side, and she is the owner of the No Spell Hotel, a place where any ghoul can check in and have a nice relaxing stay. The only rule? No magic allowed. Elle enforces this rule right up until her own magic is abruptly stripped from her by her coven. Now things are happening that she is at a loss to explain, and she needs to figure things out quickly if she is going to keep her hotel... and her life. With the help of her best friend Ajax and witch in training Precious, Elle is going on the offensive!

Filled with goblins, vampires, dwarves, elves, and many more creatures, Miss Spell's Hotel is a rollicking romp that you will be able to sink your teeth into from page one  (even if you aren't a vampire, lol).  I am looking forward to more books in this series!
